Through my coursework and professional experiences I have worked in the traditional PR space on media relations efforts. In coursework, I have put together a media relations plan which includes a press release, pitches, follow-ups, and more. In my professional experience, I have created an organization fact sheet for press purposes and media advisories sent to local press for events.

Media Relations Packet

This packet contains background research, a news release, sample pitches and follow-ups, and success measurement explanations for a campaign done by the UW Oshkosh AMP department. This was completed as an assignment for a Public Relations Techniques course in the fall of 2023.

Small Business Pop-up Media Advisory

This media advisory was sent to local news outlets who had previously covered food and beverage related stories along with those who covered small businesses. This was used as a promotional tactic for the small business pop-up event held at Wildfire Coffeehouse.

Grande Company Fact Sheet

I created this organizational fact sheet as part of a crisis communication manual during my internship at Grande Cheese Company. This tool can be sent to the press with any media kits or press releases, given to reporters during press conferences, or used as a resource for writing communications about the Enterprise.
